The School of Art and Design at Kennesaw State University is comprised of over 1,200 vibrant, creative, and talented art students, led by faculty members and professional staff devoted to the development of professional art educators, art historians, studio, and design artists and animators. The School cultivates artistic and intellectual growth by developing creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and technical proficiency. All programs uphold and exceed national standards in studio art, art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and art education. The School is committed to excellence in teaching, research, creative activity, service, and scholarship provides students with the tools to be informed citizens in a global society and to succeed professionally. 

The artists in this exhibition come to us from the Advanced Studies in Drawing and Painting courses within the School of Art and Design. They represent a wide range of contemporary styles, visual interests, and aesthetic concerns.
